Experiences in ZMR... Empty Experiences in ZMR...

The F2P game, Zombies Monsters and Robots (ZMR), is focused on PvE or rather the coop game mode. Note that there isn't any single player aspect; if a players are looking to play as "lone-wolf," they are not going to have a good gaming experience.

Up to 8 players can battle computer controlled AI in a variety of missions and maps.  There is a player vs player mode, but, as I said, the focus is on the cooperative mode.

It's got conventional guns (not weird magical laser guns) and the AI enemies consist of special dinosaurs, infected zombies and dogs.  ZMR plays like a mixture of Resident Evil Raccoon City, Gears of War, Left4Dead and another retail (now F2P), Defiance.

I should also mention that the system spec requirements are low, but the graphics are really nice... so, laptop friendly.

System Requirements:

Minimum -
OS: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
Processor: Pentium 4 2.0GHz
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT (Shader Model 3.0)
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 10 GB available space

Recommended -
OS: Windows 7, Windows 8 (64-bit)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, i7, or AMD equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT, GT240, AMD Radeon 4800 or HD5600
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 10 GB available space

Usually F2P game developers or publishers are responsible for running game servers... such is the case with ZMR.  However, players can create private game sessions once logged into the initial game server.  As with most F2P games, a LAN option is not available.

Although the below video talks about the game in closed beta status, it explains the workings of ZMR really well.

Removing Logo Movies:

Like most games, the publishers and developers and sponsors throw in their narcissistic logos and advertisements. Logo movies get real annoying after seeing them twice. So, here's how to get rid of them in ZMR.

Navigate to the Movies Folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ZMR\UnrealEngine3\MarsGame\Movies...

Once you are there, delete the file called " Logo.bik ".  Tip: make a backup beforehand just in case.
