Experiences in Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes

Most video games involve offensive material to some degree.  Welcome to the new modern age!
Don't like it?
Then don't complain about it... don't read or view my reviews.
No one is forcing you to buy and play video games.

The Metal Gear Series is often thought of as a console game, but MGS games usually appear on PC. Even though it is more accommodating to a console controller, Ground Zeroes's control scheme actually worked fairly with a PC keyboard and mouse.

Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes is strictly a single player game.  So, don't expect multiplayer or cooperative modes.  As with all MGS games, Ground Zeroes involves stealthy action.  Not to worry, your character, Solid Snake, is equipped with a few weapons and gadgets to aid in completing goals and objectives.

Storyline: It's pretty shallow and lame unless and kind of difficult to get into... unless you've been following the MGS game series.  As mentioned in other reviews, "do gamers really buy and play games for their for storylines"?  Realize that the story is set during the late 1970's.  For example, one of the gadgets is a cassette player (rare and cutting-edge technology for that time period).  Also, note that Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes is actually a prolog to the game Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain.

Price: At the time of this writing $20 is the STEAM price.  But you can definitely find it much cheaper if you wait for a STEAM sale or just look elsewhere.

Game Mechanics: Since this was released with consoles in mind, the controls play better on a console controller, but I found the PC Keyboard and mouse worked out nicely.

Weapons and Equipment: There are not many... for example, there are 5 or 6 gun types in the entire game.  But lights can be shot out and there is just something gratifying about sneaking up behind an enemy and stabbing them or taking them down for interrogation.

Graphics: The game has the goods when it comes to superb graphics (circa 2014-15).  Giving a realistic feel to weapons, environment is exceptionally well done with a minimal impact on your computer's hardware.

Requirments: Here're are the minimum...

OS: Windows Vista SP2 x64, Windows 7 x64, Windows 8 x64 (64-bit OS Required)
Processor: Core i5-4460 (3.20GHz) or better *Quad-Core or better
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (2GB) or better (DirectX 11 graphics card required)
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 4 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
