What's a BIN file?
In short, a BIN file has the extension " .bin " at the end of it (map_name.bin). It's the file needed for the game to make the "mission briefing" at the screen where you choose weapons and presents the information when you press the [i] key during the game. Basically, a BIN is derived from a plain old text file (extension .txt). There are areas where you can insert your own text (be careful though, certain codes and text are needed. I recommend using a template.
Step 1 - Get a sample file and use it as a template.
Step 2 - Modify the template and save it (give it a new name as well).
Step 3 - Use a TXT2BIN converter to turn your text file into a BIN file.
