Experiences in Dead Effect

Dead Effect started out as a Smartphone game. So, since it is a PC port, don't expect anything outstanding or unique about it.
The Good: Again, for a PC port, solid, colorful graphics. The environment produces a feel of horror and survival to a certain extent. After all, you wake up to a ship full of zombies!
The Bad: The jump mechanic of most modern games is absent.
The Ugly: The voice acting is so bad, it is kind of comical, but mostly just down right horrible. The physics are pretty bad also, but like I said... it's a PC port.
Bottom Line: Dead Effect is by no means as excellent as games like Doom, Painkiller, Wolfenstein, Dead Space or Left4Dead. Despite its few shortcomings, it still provides some solid game... zombie slaughtering fun in space! I paid around five dollars for Dead Effect, which is exactly what it is worth in 2014/15.
